Muona Foundation trained teachers in early childhood care and development to provide services through the provision of free pre-schools in the community for both able-bodied children and physically challenged children. Muona Foundation trained six preschool teachers in Blantyre to manage children in Muona. Most of the physically challenged kids were locked up in their homes by their parents when going for their daily chores. The availability of pre-schools in Muona allows children to play together and parents feel free to go on with their daily chores without getting worried about the care for their children. The six trained teachers trained their colleagues after returning from training and the Muona Foundation established new free pre-schools.
